duhhhh torre was an NL manager his whole career before coming to the Yankees. He managed the Braves, Mets, and Cardinals. In 1996, people all raved about how he brought National League ball to the AL with steals and hit-and-runs. Somewhere along the way, he started dosing off in the dugout and that wore off. Girardi is definitely a better fit for this club.

The Best thing about the all-star game was before it started, when they announced in yankee stadium,"Manager of the world champion boston redsox, Terry Francona." Hearing that in Yankees Stadium was great cuz it F'd you yankees fans right up da A. Drew got MVP to top it off.. It was also nice to see Steinbrenner crying at the beginning of the all-star game cuz he knows the yankess are in the SHitter
