I didn't think she wasn beautiful in the movie, at least not in the conventional sense, it was her charisma that made her pretty in it, and that's how it's supposed to be. Jane Eyre isn't supposed to be pretty, she's supposed to be plain and unspectacular. Ruth Wilson is very pretty though.

She has a very unique face, in a good way, I mean. Personally I think she is even more beautiful in the movie when she looks more natural. Either way she`s very pretty.

I agree. She's pretty in a kind of strange way with just a twinge of not-so-pretty in her face, which is what makes her so unique-looking. I'm actually a full-time caricature artist so I'm always really attuned to people distinguishing features! (i get paid to emphasize people's quirks, what a kickass job lol!)

It's difficult to say that she's handsome... because of her mouth and eyesbrown! Futhermore in jane eyre she incarn one character who isn't beautiful so she feel no pretty. But i agree with the comments she is a good actress with a great personnality which is adapted for Jane...

i think her face is very unique and the way she played the character was amazing. she was excellent, in my opinion. if we want to talk eye brows- jack nickolson probably gets his roles in horror films because of them. ruth wilson can go very far in whatever she likes because of her acting skills. the first time i ever saw toby or ruth was in jane eyre and liked them the moment i saw it.
