Schiff was right about his predictions regarding the dollar. The dollar rally was a headfake (thanks to European central banks weakening the Euro) but the fundamentals show that there is no way the dollar could sustain the rally. The dollar is falling off a cliff today. Gold is going up.

Schiff was calm and prepared. He anticipated Laffer's responses and had answers ready. Laffer was unprepared, anxious and resorted to ridicule. Never have a I seen a participant in an economic debate be dominated so convincingly. Schiff destroyed him. Remember that Laffer has a MBA from Yale and was Reagan's chief economic advisor.
