| It is hardly financial intricacies. Owners are incredibly wealthy businessmen. They have run successful enough businesses that they can buy baseball teams. They should be able to spend whatever sums of money they want to on players. If they can't appraise talent well, that is their problem, and they will be stuck with the bill (i.e yanks and Pavano). But that should be up to the owners. This whole debate is stupid. |
