Actually, not just in music scene, virtually everything else, we Chinese are world-renowned for copying/stealing others without copywrite/patent.
Here's what's happening in China:
1) Japanese and Korean gadget, phone and car makers release sleek, innovative new devices or vehicles domestically in Japan and Korea.
2) Chinese rip-off companies buy one, and return to China where the whole thing is copied.
3) The Chinese companies sell the fake version domestically in China.

Copyright material can be bought, this may be a 'copy' of the original, but it may be bought. More or less, the music industry underwent some sort of business to have these songs remade into other music industries. You can call this conformity. Everyone goes by conformity these days. It appears everywhere so why complain?

The music companies always release copyright to different country to share musics. Like Sony BMG has worldwide branches in most countries. Since they are under same company, you can't say they are copy. I bet korean have copied some of thier musics from Taiwan, too.
